I always wonder about how those two handled the mirror incident. Hiei doesn't seem the type to forgive easily, and Kurama has a history of being devious...

I loved the setting for this - the constantly revolving Kuwabara, it added humour exactly where it was needed.

And I always enjoy how you show Kurama's age - how he looks as the bigger picture. You focus on humanity affecting a Youko - too many authors only focus on the human aspect without giving perspective. I also like how you have things unsure with him - will he age like a normal human and die? Who knows?

I can actually envision Kurama and Hiei having the conversation you laid out for them. You write both of them exceptionally well; from their individual personalities to their little mannerisms and quirks... strong voice; good characterization. Lovely story.
