Eh, this made me cry, but only because I really identify with Remus too, as well as feeling homesick, and missing my mother too. It made me think of the time that I decided to go to summer camp for a few weeks. I didn't know anybody and I felt like I didn't fit in. I suppose it was a good experience for me nonetheless, but I still went home early... heh

Aw...this is so sweet. The contrast of Remus's feelings before and after going is well done, and I love the way he reacts to the word 'Friends'. I liked the other boys in this too, they're so friendly and kind-Jamie! Aww. I like Peter too. Altogether, a really nice sentimental story.

This was very sweet. I really liked the way you wrote Remus. Sirius was also done well (even though he only had like 2 sentences). Of course, those might just be my own personal biases talking...

My one piece of advice would be to try to find a beta for grammar errors. You had some run-on sentences, and it was a little distracting.
