Your grasp on Yuki's voice is impeccable, Shuichi gets serious when appropriate, Shuichi has a *brain* (I *died* at the "idiot's lover" line, that was air to breathe, that was perfection in a shotglass), Yuki has a heart and still vaguely denies it... . The interspersion of yawns as the conversation continued almost perfectly spaced the dialogue out-that is to say, the pause that it took to consider those yawns' implications kept me from glossing through the dialogue as readers are wont to do. . "When do I have to change the locks by?" I adore this line. It's so...vicious, if delivered by anyone but Yuki. Through Yuki's lips, however, it's nothing less than affectionate. . "Idiot's lover." I can't get *over* that. It's perfectly Shuichi, it's so clear to see Yuki's reaction, it's so seductive! . On the power of this fic alone, I'm not only favoriting it but I'm sticking you on my author alerts. I would investigate the rest of your stuff but it's like three am and I want to leave coherent reviews for everything, so this is all for tonight. But I will be back, don't you worry.
