Wow. The first chapter blew me away. I never think about my own mortality in that way so its kinda shocking to see it like that. The followup chapter was lovely, tying the two together and making a very nice story.

This story put a unique spin on Inuyasha's human night. I've never considered this before, nor have I read anything else like it.

It's not every day you find a fanfiction with such a rare plot, and the enduring sweetness in it makes it all the better.

The Last Unicorn was my favorite movie when I was a kid too! I use to come home from school and watch it everyday. I even still have the VHS, it's so worn out, but you can still watch it! _ It's amazing how you can watch it now and understand the deeper meanings in the movie.

Oh god this story is so sad! I couldn't stop crying. I was crying the entire time while reading this and it made it hard to read through the tears. I don't know how to put what I'm feeling into words but I guess what I'm about to say will have to do.

Your story reached the rare emotion deep inside me that causes tears to find their ways down my face and that now these days is a rare thing...thank you. I've been needing a good story that would make me cry.

DUDE! Another 'Last Unicorn' fan! That's awesome. I haven't seen that movie in years, but I was actually talking to a friend the other day about movies and shows we grew up watching and mentioned that movie, and he was all, "'The Last Unicorn'? WTF?" and looked at me like I was on detergent crack. Sadness was mine. Anyways, now that I've rambled on about random encounters, getting back to your story: I liked. Very much. It actually put an interesting spin on why exactly the boy hates those nights so much besides the usual 'You're so effing weak, puny human!' reason...

Even if it was for a contest it was still very well written and heart wrenching.
