Oh gosh. This was incredible. I cried like a baby at the end. You did such a wonderful, consistent job with the mythos. I really enjoyed the build up of suspense from the beginning, to terrible understanding, and then natural grief and healing. You have a singular talent for quiet but profound drama!

this was fantastic. the twists i wasn't expecting, despite the length of the story. most shorter stories aren't as well-developed and in-depth as this was, but you have a magnificent skill for presenting a story succinctly. congrats on this heart-wrenching fic. xander and giles is one of my favorite couples, and this was just a beautiful one.~

I just finished reading this story oh my god it was amazing can I just say you're a genious. It was beautifully writen and it had a bitter sweet ending, probably one of my favorite stories of yours. Thanks for writing such awesome stories.

This was incredible. From the first chapter you had me hooked and it just got better and better. At first I thought I had it all figured out, what the plot was, what had happened to the gang in Sunnydale and then I would go to the next chapter and just be blown away. Phenomenal job with the characters and perhaps a much more realistic and satisfying ending to the whole Buffy saga after Season 5. I especially liked how you delt with the whole balance thing/First Evil. In the show, Anya and Giles find out about the problem with bringing Buffy back from the dead and how that gave the First Evil a foothold but nothing is ever developed with the story. Your story however fills that huge gap with amazing characters. I have never seen Giles so well written. I also really enjoyed your take on Xander. There are a lot of Xander emotional/depressed/hurt stories out there, but yours just captured me. I also like how you dealt with Willow and Buffy and Tara. I especially liked when Xander decides not to hate Willow, when he realizes along with Giles that it is just not worth it. I especially liked how Buffy was present but not present as a character in the story; very deftly done. Ethan was a hoot as well; I love how you dealt with his relationship with Giles. Nothing complicated but nothing run of the mill either. A wonderful story and highly reccomended to everyone! :)
