These are great! They really flesh out the end of the story and I think it ties up some of the loose ends and issues Phantom Planet had. All in all, great story! Cant wait to read everything else you have.

Okay. Tbh, I actually don’t like it when the rest of the Phantom denies that Phantom Planet is canon. Like ok fine, maybe revealing his secret to the whole world isn’t a good way to keep a story going and thus the “phans” won’t be able to keep a good story going. But he revealed his secret because that supposed to be was the end of the series, the end of the story. However, I do like it when writers like you and wastefulreveries (to name a few) sort of compromise and go on with the fact that he did do a reveal at the end of Phantom Planet but not to the entire world. (But to a sizable group of people he wasn’t that close to in the first place) I get it. I get why it would be so hard to write a good story that doesn’t involve a lot of angst unless Danny kept his secret. But you don’t have to take that series finale out of the thing completely. Just work around it. Make AUs or do what I just explained. That was just my two cents on it. Sorry if I made anyone mad. Wow sorry, I’m ranting.

DUDE! This is absolutely AMAZING! More people should read your stories cuz legit you do not get enough credit for these! I LOVE IT! This was like a more detailed version of Phantom Planet. I think the Valerie scene was GREAT. Truth be told I used to ship Valerie Gray with Danny more than Sam with Danny. I just saw Valerie as cooler and more fun. But you’re fanfic has changed my mind. Danny and Sam are so cute together! I really like how you did that Valerie and Danny talk tho. It was just PERFECT. I hope you keep writing this sorta thing.

I really like how he was trying to get Sam to see that Danny does return her feelings.
With the "Wes" ring scene, it sounds like it could have been a deleted scene in the actual episode, and that's how Sam figured it out that it was her name engraved in it, and that would explain why she tells Danny "Something tells me it was really meant for me" before the kiss.

I am glad that Tucker is not worried about being a third wheel when Danny and Sam become a couple.

I really hate the way the government is now. Unfortunately, the speech you had the President give seems to be pretty much what I would expect of our current government. My first response the garbage the President was spewing was "Like hell you take the safety of American citizens seriously. All you take seriously is your own safety and self-gain. FUCK YOU." That's what I thought about the President's speech. I'm so glad all the people Danny revealed his secret to are going to keep it secret.

I love these tales! Especially this one! I rather pity Tucker. His two best friends VERY obviously like each other, yet neither one will confess and they each insist that the other person doesn't reciprocate their feelings. It was maddening enough just watching them as an outside observer, I can't imagine how much worse it must have been for Tucker.

Awesome.

I love Mr. Lancer, he's such a great character.

D'aaaawwwwww, this is one of the sweetest things I've read in a long time! :D I loved how you incorporated Phantom Planet but made a few things different at the same time. I loved the detail put in and every single character's unique personality. This fic was just perfect! :) Thanks so much for writing this! I can't wait to read more of your works in the future! :D

I just love Danny Phantom stories in Maddie's pov and her expressing all her maternal love towards her children.

I Favorited and followed both the story, and you. I don't favorite and/or follow authors often, but I've read several of your stories now and I really like your writing style AND you ideas. :)

People are split like the red sea on this scene. My stance is..complicated.
The dialog...my god. I wouldn't have really used the word "selfish" since it's basically human nature to value your family and friends over anyone else. It sounds cruel, but you would sooner see complete strangers die than your loved ones. Everyone is selfish like that. What Sam should have done was remind him that he wasn't like that. That he cared about everyone, even strangers. That had the potential to be above the average human in that regard, and that he could encourage people to do the same, and that's what made him special, not his powers. "Average" "Not special" "one of the crowd" I really do get what they were going for, but it's like the writers went out of their way to make Sam's motives seem ambiguous.
I can get behind Danny giving up his powers for his friends and family. At least he had good intentions, it's very normal to do that. I really wanted them to acknowledge that in the episode. You'd think Jazz of all people would sympathize. But to make sure that kids would side with Sam, the writers made Danny lazy and took away all of his drive.
Which makes no sense. You'd think that by season 3 he would finally come into his role as a protector. Nope. He gave up his POWERS. But they made it so that he gave up his sense of justice as well. Did they really throw all of Danny's development down the drain so they could get the kids to worship Butch's favorite character yet again? And it's just for that one scene.
I had my suspicions when I saw Livin Large, but PP solidified it for me. They probably became aware of the hate Sam got, so to combat it, they made Danny more incompetent in arguments people would take her side more. I guess it was easier to do that instead of, I don't know, developing Sam?
This happens fairly often in different shows as well. So much so, that an episode of Robot Chicken made fun of it.
It's a shame, too. This could been a really heartfelt moment between the both of them.
