i actually liked the description. But if 'Ellie' is going to be a recurring character i can't read this.

I decided to comment on this, though this is mostly critique. I liked the idea in the summary. It just drew me in but when Ellie came around, it made me loose all interest. Now, I don't know if she'll be mary sue in the traditional meaning but I dislike her as oc anyway. Oc are kinda like that. Very tricky and their appearance should be hidden and gradual, forshadowed a lot for it to work. Also their huge importance to the plot should be presented right away and Ellies wasn't. I didn't see here why she should be around at all.
