| Tatsumaki-sama chapter 1 . 7/10/2008 Wow. Just ... wow! You've portrayed and described the very essence and soul of Monkey D. Luffy down to the fullest and greatest detail. And the fact that it was narrated by Zoro, the first mate and first crew member of Luffy, made it all the more real to me. Though the end made me cry because Zoro is right: Luffy isn't immortal. But his memory will be kept alive, something Zoro will make sure of. It's almost like a parallel to Gol D. Rogers and Silvers Rayleigh, his first mate. |

| Imagined Reality chapter 1 . 10/31/2007 *weeps* so perfect! You definatly captured just what Luffy is. And the fact that Zoro was narrating it, but we didn't find out till the end... I just love how this was written. It's got that bouncy (haha) feeling that Luffy always has, always jumping from one thing to another, and yet it was grounded, going in a single steady direction from the first word. Like, I read the words that described Luffy, but I knew there was something more. Something more than just the fact that he was a nut who cared for only his hat, meat, nakama, and ocean. And you got that perfectly. He's not immortal. Honestly, I think that's the fact about Luffy we often forget. Bravo! |
