This was just wonderful. I love the idea that Sara was friends with Milton. He was such a crusty old man but he obviously had a soft spot for a smart woman.

I just read your story. Tragically I have the Living End's version of I Get a Kick Out of You on my phone. Have often thought of it as a Sara/Grissom song (at an end of year function for the whole lab). Loved your version.

I am very slowly trying to catch up on my reading, and was I supremely happy to have chosen this one today. This was a wonderful account of prolonged recovery, unusual friendships and the complicated process of relationship. Thank you very much for sharing such a delightful piece of writing.

I liked the way you were able to build Sara and Milton's friendship from the little screen time we saw of him on the show. You were able to create a very warm relationship. It was nice to see Sara have a friend outside of the usual crew.

Aw. Just what I needed after an intense episode. I loved Milton, in all of the 3 seconds that we saw him, and was sorry we didn't get to see him much. This was perfect. A balm to my racing heart. :D

That was sweet and heartwarming. I loved the use of Milton just as I loved his scene with Sara in EH. I also loved the bit where Grissom kissed her and said, 'Among other things'. Wonderful.
