I love how much substance and care was put into this.

I feel it only proper for Cloud to open himself up to his childhood friend after AC.

Such a wonderful story, I appreciated the contrast it had to some of my other favorite CloudxTifa stories on here in that little time was wasted in getting them to realize -and- act on their feelings for one another. I can see how this may not be everyone’s cup of tea but after reading through more angsty takes this was such a pleasant alternative. The drama you added in the latter chapters of your tale worked to bring some more balance to the story’s feel but I’m glad to see things resolved happily in the end.

One greedy nitpick of mine is I do wish the epilogue was longer, while as is it is beautifully succinct, I admit ravenous curiosity in knowing more on your take on Cloud and Tifa in that (10?) year period that followed. It also came across unclear how many children they ended up having (snippets about Denzel helping the oldest and Marlene helping the youngest but unsure if this refers to their own kids). That said, the best stories don’t answer every last question do I can appreciate your desire to approach it the way you did.

Hello! I know that this story was published in 2007, so I'm not sure if you even check reviews on this story anymore. But this is my first time finding this story after reading several FFVII fanfics, with a renewed love for the game and the compilation, along with the CloTi pairing (the announcement of the remake has definitely gotten me excited!) Anyway, I just wanted to say that this was a fantastic read. My favorite FFVII fic I've read. It really played out in a believable way. Everything was just perfect. Thank you for writing this... I really enjoyed it all the way through. Cheers.

I've been dying fo a good fic that ties AC and DoC together. This is the best I've seen yet.

Ugh, I can't tell you how happy it made me to read this story. All of it was perfectly in sync with the story line and all of the characters were, well in character. It was like the happy ending that never was, or never revealed however you want to look at it. You are an amazing writer & the social commentary made it more relatable.

Only my Yuffentine fangirl side was disappointed, but seeing as you dropped a few subtle hints during the wedding I'm satisfied. Besides this is a CloTi and they're my favorite couple next to ZackxAerith.

Anyway enough rambling, I love this story & I hope to read more of your stories in the future.
