It's so sweet to see the two of them like this, with Sam comforting Daniel. It's obvious he kind of feels like he's lost his parents all over again, but at least he has Sam there for him.

Ah, this is such a heartbreaking chapter. You can tell that Daniel wants to say so much more than he is. I can just imagine all of the things going through his mind. He's got to be wanting to tell them how to avoid dying, etc. And it's really nice to see more of his parents than what we saw in The Gamekeeper. Hm, interesting thought here (even though I know this is au), I can't help but wonder how this experience would flavor what he goes through in that ep.

I really like how Sam is the one who says they're dating.

Though I do have a bit of a question for you at this point. Is Daniel still holding out hope for Sha're returning? Because it does put a kink in plans if he does. Just a silly question. I"m sure you have a plan.

Oh, how cute! That's so cool that Daniel will be able to see his parents one more time. In fact, it almost begs a one shot about how he would feel about seeing them/seeing them again. And a very intersting plot twist to boot.

Ooh, what a twist! Though I am curious as to why Sam would suddenly condone contacting people in the past. Just a thought.

I'm really curious to see how this turns all shippy...

Yay! Teamwork! Those two are always great at brainstorming. I can't wait to see if they actually change the future, because it would be interesting if they ended up living in the past with their future selves in the future, too. Ooh, the possibilities...

Oh, poor Sam! She really is taking it hard, even though it's not really her fault. I'm glad Daniel is there to remind her of that. They make such a good team :).

Throwing this out there, but wouldn't the future Cassie be able to help Jack and Teal'c go back and get them? It's a thought I had. I'm sure I'll find out...

Even though it's short, this chapter definately pulls me into it, and now I ahve to find out what's going to happen :).

"Who's the Colonel?" Lol, loved that line. It's so typical of Jack in the first few seasons. He may outrank them all and be the leader, but, really, is he in charge?

So as I've read this story already, I can't review the last chapter, but I have to say that this is just as great as the first time I read it! well done!
