“If he is a squib we are fucked” has to be the weirdest line I’ve seen from Dumbledore. It’s just so unnatural for both the character and scenario. Similar examples kinda killed the doc for me.

I’d hoped maybe Ginny would fall in love with Dudley and give her parents the ultimate middle finger, perhaps because there was some traces of Tom riddle (diary version) left in her influencing her.

And it would’ve been nice to see Sirius reconcile with Remus and Harry, eventually. What was the point of enslaving him and then just... nothing?

Not really the biggest fan of character bashing either. It’s so unrealistic and some lines just made me roll my eyes at it.

"If he is a squib we are fucked." This line, coming from Dumbles, killed this fic for me; stopped me dead in my proverbial tracks. It was jarring, and no, it's not because I'm prudish in regards to cursing.
