I like this, but ianto being #12 doesn’t work for me. Ianto as Time lord works very well. I may just be influenced by knowing what actually happened in cannon. You write well and spin a good yard, so keep writing. Ignore me!

Well rounded story, loved the twist. Ianto as the 12th Doctor - wow! Nicely written moving from tragedy to drama and concluding with resolution - a happy ending.

nope..maybe a timelord that was saved before the home planet went FFOSH..?

maybe a sequel that will explain it better ya think...?

That's SO cute! I must say though, with Lisa in the TARDIS, surely there won't be much action going on between them...? -grin-

And (just a slight problem) when the Doctor opens the stop watch and becomes himself again, he forgets everything that happened to him as a human, doesn't he? I'm not sure as I only wtached that episode once... but I always got the feeling that he'd changed completely when he returned to himself... So wouldn't Ianto not be the same man that Jack fell in love with?

Wow, Ianto was the Doctor? So glad Jack won't have to be alone again. It is sad to think of the others dying, but I guess that's life. Thanks for a great little story.
