Veil happens to be one of my favorite characters of Redwall. Surprising through; because Jacques only wrote so little about the little ferret. I mean he didn't go into much details with this character whom "Outcast of Redwall" is titled about. (Surprising when Jacques usually writes so much about main characters in his books).

I can't picture Veil and Bryony being in love. Because Jacques wrote so well that Bryony saw herself more like a mother figure to Veil.

But, I'm happy to see that I'm not the only Veil fan out there.

LOL. I like how you took that scene and turned it Redwall, though I don't personally like the Veil/Bryony pairing, I hated Veil and laughed when he died. sry but it's true.

Nice story although your saying that if Bluefen never died and Veil never died they would be like that although Bluefen dies before Veil was born and one thing is he wasn't abandoned the squirrels shot the female ferret that was carrying Veil and killed her with Veil being rolled into a ditch and Swartt had no idea that this had happened until he stopped retreating. So good story just saying that thats what happened. Oh yeah im Ethias Mouse spirit mouse that protects Redwall from vermin like Swartt and other vermin like that. I hope you read my story "the Encounter". Nice meeting you!
