Really great story with just the right amount of whump and action. The only complaint I have is that you didn't add any recovery for shep back on Atlantis, but that is okay. Still a great story!

The best kind of whump, at least for me, is this type. When the situation either forces you to keep moving when you need to stop and deal with the injury or has you trapped when you need to get out and get to help. This story has both! Double Win! Mix in the the worry and the concern of the companions combined with their inability to do anything to help...this is a deliciously irresistable recipe.

This was great! The show tried to illustrate the struggle Ronan had to go through to start trusting Sheppard, but your story makes it much clearer - how the internal debate went on in his head until he'd sort of figured Sheppard out. Good job!

This was a good illustration of how military type men respond to authority, even when they don't agree with the orders. I liked the way Ronan changed his mind, slowly, about the plan, and then realized that under the circumstances Shepherd's was the best. Good character story, with a nice little plot, too.

And you vary the groups of characters. This time being Sheppard and Ronan and the respect they have for each other even if they don't always agree with each other. Thanks
