You were doing so good but then you did the time skip. I don't understand your reasoning for breaking them apart for the time skip either, it made sense in the show. They didn't get along the best, but in your story there was no reason for it. You could have been a little more creative with your characters as well, like you could've had Jiraiya teach Sakura a few jutsus or something idk, she just seemed like a background character, and Everytime people write her, she's usually pretty limited to what she can do. Great idea tho, it was pretty original.

I gotta say, overall your story is very impressive. Even though it's main purpose was to ship Naruto and Sakura, I thought the way you handled both using your own ideas as well as using concepts, dialogues, and moments from the anime was astounding. Seriously, the way you had accurately portrayed the characters to how they are in the manga and anime made me literally think I was reading some kinda OVA novel by the creators of this fun series. It's too bad that it looks like you aren't going to continue this but still I gotta say man well done! Well done indeed!
