Carriers do not have enough room on their flight decks for modern jets, such as the F-14 Tomcat, to perform a rolling, conventional takeoff. Therefore, naval aircraft, such as the aforementioned Tomcat, are literally catapulted from the deck. From a standing start to flying speed in about 2.5 seconds. I like the plot of the story enough to disregard the inaccuacies to real life carrier ops.

This is still going good. You're not making the defeat of Osama Bin Ladin any easier for the gargoyles, than it has been for our actual forces. As I said, I've never watched the show, so there are some things I do not understand; and I don't see what the gargoyles are doing, that couldn't be performed by conventional forces. However this is still a very good story.

I like the way you're setting up this story. I just wonder, with everything the Military has, why would they think they need the Gargoyles, especially back in Octorber 2001? I personally have never watched the show "Gargoyles", so I have no idea what supernatural powers they have, except the ability to fly and turn to stone in daylight. The turning to stone would be a distinct disadvantage, when fighting people who can move fast, and know how to hide.

However, you are a very good writer, and I'm sure you'll come up with a very good answer.

It will be interesting for them to plunge into it and if Goliath thinks that this whole mess is complicated, then perhaps he should take a trip to Israel and the occupied territories of Palestine. Not to mention the havoc that will happen once March 2003 comes about in the story.

Oh and do you keep track of the work that the creators of Gargoyles still do on their show even though it is in comic book form now and that the fact that they had a lot of ideas planned. Well for one thing I would guess that by this time, Brooklyn would have already gone on his timedancer journeys and all that for one thing.
