Awww, the definition of a friend for Piccolo is Gohan. No doubt about that. Poor him, though, he never understood this; never had known friendship until only now. And aw, Gohan, has anyone ever told you besides your mom that you're the sweetest kid ever? I mean, hey! I never thought of it that way, too! Piccolo's father... yes, that's right! Now his life is his own to live, and his path his own to decide, not the Demon King's any longer. That part of the deal is done, right? True! Oh, Gohan, you are so innocent yet smart, and Piccolo is right! It's almost hard to believe that you're as young as you are!

Aw, Piccs, One hug is never enough, especially for the day! You'll need more than that to call it 'plenty'.

Your fics make me realize just how and why these two became as close as they are! Friends, family. Such a sweet, funny, awesome one shot! Perfect! Just wonderful and perfect!

This story was lovely, Gohan was simply adorable (the roleplaying bit was so sweet, it made me smile) and Piccolo was... well, Piccolo, he was great and completely in character. A very enjoyable read.

Keke, you keep on surprising me with how you manage to get their friendship across without completely dissolving Piccolo's personality. I consider it quite an acheivement todo that.

Here's my favorite quote: "After this battle with the saiyains is over with, you're getting your brain scanned. there's something wrong with you." I can clearly image Piccolo saying that... hehe
