That nagging feelings has to be because they're not really only cousins but sisters, half sisters. I'm thinking that the Wizard was not only Elphabab's father but also Breena's. I think that's what she's missing that little green elixir that was supposedly why Elphaba's skin was green and probably why Breena's blood is green as well.

Its horrible that Leandra died alone. (frown)

This story is amazing!

I've loved Breena since she was the smiling guard that annoyed Glinda. (smile) Loved her when she put that guard to sleep, and how she kicked some major Gale Force ass! It seems silly but I am so happy that she is related to Elphaba and not actually her lover. (lol) As for Glinda's rant, who could blame her. Then again you have to love Breena she really is an awesome character that I've fallen in love with through the last nine chapters of this story.

I was shocked when you actually had Elphaba stabbed. I was on the edge of my seat reading it and nearly cried when you ended the chapter without telling us whether or not she was dead or just unconscious. I'm glad that Breena got to the wagon in time and that she's healing from her ordeal. I look forward to reading about Breena's past with everyone especially Elphaba and their little pack of misfits.

Fiyero's intent to harm Glinda if anything happened to Elphaba scares me but with Breena around I'm sure both Elphie and Glinda will be alright. (smile)

The scene with the Lion had me smiling. The fact that Elphaba was going to leave the room so he was more comfortable was precious. I'm so glad that they get along now and he had the chance to thank Elphaba and even help save her, by getting her into the wagon and kicking Boq's ass. I do hope Breena gives Boq what's coming to him as well as Nevin and Morrible. With Breena, Elphaba AND Glinda...they'll be unstopable!

I'll say it again, this story is amazing! I can't wait to read how this all turns out.

You know, it's kind of a massive giveaway that Breena and Elphaba are actually sisters and the daughters of the Wizard, cause Elphie got her green skin from the bottle the Wizard gave Melena, so it only makes sense that Breena would get the green blood from the Wizard, cause it didn't come from the Thropp side.

what a great story. this is one of the best stories i have ever read. i spent all day reading it.
