| Awel chapter 1 . 5/22/2005 I first read this and the other stories in the series in 20, and I can honestly say there hasn't been another Star Wars fanfic that's stayed with me like these ones. Even all these years later, they still manage to capture the nuances of Obi-Wan and Anakin's relationship-in particulary their witty banter, which turned up in canon eventually. I often think that George Lucas didn't fully highlight the poignancy of Obi-Wan and Anakin's close bond, and when I cried during the climax of Episode I, it was your characters that I thought of. Please pass this on to your sister as well; I know she wrote some stories along this same line and I'm not quite sure how to get in contact with her. Again, thanks for a wonderful and unique fandom experience. |

| Beverly chapter 1 . 8/16/2000 I really adored this story. First off, I have to say you wrote a good description of how I see Obi-Wan. Reserved and not quite sure how to handle a Padawan. And oh what a Padawan! The emotional part was great. How will Obi relate to Anakin and his needs that way? This is great to watch. I love Qui-Gon showing up, not just for Anakins sake, but Obi's as well. Is this a series and are there more stories? I tried to get to the other ones and couldn't get there. Excellent read...thank you! |
