Really liked this one.

This is an incredible story. Excellent characterization of both Sam and Barricade. For someone whose first language isn't English, you are a formidable writer. Well done.

Hm I guess this is the start for Sam and Baracade to start building Trust or at the very least Respect.

I enjoyed this chapter, even though Sam was scared nearly out of his head, he still went with Baracade. 'Cade realized this as well.

This was thoroughly entertaining. Thank you for writing it.

Aw! I knew Barry had it in him! I loved this story. It was so ... I don't know. "Believable" isn't the word I'm looking for, but it'll have to do for now.

Considering that English is not your first language, you've always done very well in your stories. Your Barricade is awesome. Very cold and frightening.

I only found one mistake:

Sam heard a screech of cars breaking,

his mom's (20th?) high school reunion [the number would clear some of the grammatical confusion/awkwardness]

might be a better way of wording the statement, and I know it's the German coming out that you forgot the space between high and school. Or, y'know... a typo. And yes, I know it's picking nits, but hey- why be *almost* perfect, especially when you care.

Anyway... wow. Really good story for anyone, and double for someone whom English is a second language.
