I'm loving this series!

You know, considering Watching ran in families there have to have been a lot of younger and half-trained old-Council personnel who didn't get blown up, but who never appear in post-series fics. Ripper analogues of the current generation, I mean. Not everyone can have been in the headquarters when it blew. Hell, there ought to have been at least one or two people who got out of Council business because they didn't like how the Slayer was run, who might want back in now.

Even if they aren't properly trained, a lot of the old Council must have left behind underage offspring who have always expected to grow up to be Watchers. I guess Giles is handling that in England...

I know my Stargate timeline is well, nonexistant, with only some random episodes and the first 15 episdoes of Season 1, but I find it strange that Jack never told/Xander never found about about Jack's clone. It have been interesting, the son meeting the teenage verson of his father who has all of his fathers memories up to a point...Great job, loved this and Bridges, even though I know between little and nothing about Buffy.

The relationships between these characters you've developed are so so amazing. Not just with Jack and Xander, but Jack with the girls and Xander with Courtney and Jack with Andrew and I love that these snippets of their lives are like real snippets. Like Jack is looking into (and joining) Xander's life and visa versa. You're such a genius :)

I kinda want Jack to retire in Cleveland. In my head, that's what he's done. Makes me happy :)

This is the sort of this that I would love to write if I could write. Never made it past the first page yet. I love your grown up Xander who is still Xander, but still not out of character.

So, what about mini-Jack? That whole bit happened sometime between Xander and Jack first meeting and the Antarctica outpost-so it would have taken place in "Bridges."

Perhaps they could recruit mini-Jack to the watchers until he looks old enough to be some help at SGC? Or perhaps he might want to stay with the IWC.
