I dont really have enough words to describe the beauty of your story. I was watching Aces death scene, and I took "Oh boy... if only Batman had embraced her, the escene would have been absolutely perfect, but its still beautiful"

I'm honestly surprised at how few reviews this has. All I can think is that most readers are too moved by it to be comfortable putting anything to electrons, for fear it will reveal too much.

...And apart from the fact that I'm near tears, yet somehow uplifted, that's how I'm going to leave it for me, too.

When I read this, I was struggling not to cry, this was a very emotional and deep subject and you pulled it off flawlessly. And like the lyrics in the story, so meaningful. Truly a beautiful piece of insight on the true discussion between Batman and Ace.

I cried. really and truly only superb pieces of work can make me cry. This was fantastic. I always felt so sorry 4 Ace...D: excellent work. bittersweet and everyone was in character too. even Batman in his rage state of emotion.
