| Guest chapter 4 . 3/14/2018 I've been wanting to write a similar fic, and I've picked up a great tip here about how to write Javert as a protagonist. Instead of trying to make him softer from the beginning, write him as brutally as canon. Put in a stark light all of his law-upholding disdain and apathy. And then crack it, little by little, so that the other characters notice it even before he does. Nicely done. (P.S. As you can tell, Javert is my very favorite character from Les Mis) |
