You absolutely nailed Usagi. She was perfect. I loved the parallels made between her and Naruto, and I think those two will be fun to watch interact. Minako also made me laugh because she hated the library. Haha.

Putting Makoto with Ino in flower shop was a good idea. I was excited to see the moment of longing (perhaps?) that Sakura mentioned seeing in Makoto when they noticed the children. They are in the part of their lives where they’re ready to settle down, and I think people forget sometimes that Makoto’s dream was to be a bride.

Rei working in the old Uchiha shrine is perfect. I wonder how Sasuke will react to her taking care of it, and given the genealogy of the Senshi in this story I’m wondering how he’ll feel about her using fire like he does, and if she’ll learn anything from him. You know my feelings on Sasuke, so I’m hoping there will be more redeeming aspects of his character in your fic than there are in canon lol I’m hoping Rei can impart some sense into him so he’ll be a better husband to Sakura in the future!

I’ve never thought about Kakashi/Setsuna, but I love it. Also- I didn’t find your style or anything confusing at all!

Wow. I subscribed to this so many years ago on an old account that I completely for it existed. But then I woke up to an email saying chapter 2 was out, though the website is insisting it doesn't exist haha. Love it!

I already gushed over the fact that you're back in the community in the review for Desert Rose so I'll skip right to the story praise.
This is arguably one of my favourite stories from all you've written. It's part of the reason I love the Makoto/Deidara pairing (yes, your stories made me wanna ship them).
The 1st chapter of the new story only gives us a glimpse of what is to come, barely scratching the surface an leaving the reader a bit unsatisfied and yearning for more (in a positive way of course).
In the previous story I remember finding Deidara to be a bit too violent and "killing for art" obsessed; but if your trend of more realistic writing transcends to this story as well, I'm looking forward to how it will all play out. In the past I used the like the flirty Deidara from Desert Rose better, but knew that romance was doomed so I kept rooting for him in this story :))
You mentioned that this story is a bit harder to write since it follows a darker theme but I see that as a better opportunity to explore human psychology and interaction between characters. Also, I'm a sucker for hate turned love relationships... so yeah, bring on the dark themes ;)
As I mentioned in the other story review, I used to reread your stories when I would get nostalgic of these pairings, so... if you still have them saved somewhere it would be very appreciated if you'd repost the old version as well, for the die hard fans ;)

To say I was shocked to see an alert for this fic in my inbox is an understatement, but oh my goodness am I excited!

The tone of this one is definitely darker than the previous version, but I also like the more ‘concrete’ lead up we got in this version as opposed to the other. We know why the worlds were separate and we know why they are colliding... now we will see the aftermath!

I’m glad Rei is staying as one of your main focuses. Biased, I know. Haha. I’m also interested in seeing how you’re going to continue to tie in the Senshi’s lineage and mesh them with the Naruto world. The fact that the White Zetsu have popped up again poses questions of course, one I’m sure the Shinobi Nations will be eager to address ASAP.

I love this story so much it's unbelievable! I doesn't look like you're gonna update so...oh well. I enjoyed it while it lasted. :) my favorite part was Deidara and Makato playing husband and wife! Lol yeah, there was a lot of humor, too! Keep writing your amazing stories that are wonderful as...um, well, something! :D
