There's a great sense of flow to this story. Nothing I can say against your writing, other than that it seems a little detached. Just my perception - it's as if Cloud sees everything through a camera, and not so much being in-the-moment. It's the present tense, I think.

And. The only problem i have is that i don't like to think that Aeris is with Cloud 'cause he's reminiscent of zack ):

I love your Clorith stories. The reality, details and characterisations are unique and completely plausable. I have to say, "The Beloved" is still my alltime favourite, but this is a very close second.

Wow! This was so beautiful and well written! You didn't repeat yourself, which could've easily happen with a story such as this, and the words that you choose made the story very fluid from beginning to end. Great job on the wording, and the idea, and the story itself.
