I don't know that they were necessarily Out Of Character ... just, possibly, a little ahead of the curve. The pairings you show here ARE canonical to the comic after all. Nightwing and Koriand'r marry and have a daughter. (Just a personal-peeve note here: Robin would have a better chance getting a cabbage pregnant than he would with Starfire. She's ALIEN. Forged on a different planet, under entirely different evolutionary influences. Having their DNA to match well enough to produce offspring stretches my credulity WELL beyond the bounds of possibility. But the comic book writers decreed it so, and therefor it came to pass.)

You do an excellent job with descriptive exposition. I like the beach well enough, and enjoy playing in the waves, and I had no trouble placing myself there among them while they frolicked. Very nice work. Goes in Favorites.
