Guest chapter 5 . 4/8/2019 Oh dear... I loved it! But I’m also freaking out! I really liked Marik’s reaction and the Ishtar family in general I can’t wait to see what it is that serenity is feeling and how everything is going to turnout! |
Savvywolf chapter 4 . 4/8/2019 Man! This chapter gave me separation anxiety! At this point you would think the gang would all be living together because every time they split up something bad happens! |
Savvywolf chapter 3 . 4/8/2019 Build up begins! I’m using your story as a reward for writing my paper every time I get to a milestone I read a new chapter! So I’m slow at reading today! Also poor Joey I know his backstory but it still hurts every time! |
Guest chapter 2 . 4/8/2019 A wish for direction can be seen as a wish for adventure! A bit slow plot wise but a good way to set up where all the characters are at emotionally! |
Guest chapter 1 . 4/8/2019 Ominous but also a great place to start a story! I can’t wait to see where you go with this! |
Ann chapter 10 . 11/1/2018 Wow Just, wow. This is a very intense chapter ending! I really liked how you told the story in fragments from the characters' view, to that of the Darkness. Speaking of the Darkness and Not and Nothing, I really like the sort of existential way you described it and its perceptions. Totally awesome! |
Ann chapter 4 . 10/30/2018 This is so awesome! Scary and awesome! Well done; I was scared. |
Anon chapter 11 . 11/8/2017 I won't lie, I nearly shed a tear of joy when you implied that Mokuba is genderfluid, I love that headcannon so much! DSoD Mokuba was great and deserves the world, thank you |
Nika Yami chapter 10 . 9/1/2017 WOW! What an intense chapter. Your writing was almost too good to follow. I'm glad you're writing again :) |
NightmareTroubador chapter 10 . 8/25/2017 These poor kids and the shoz they go through. I feel for them I really do. Oh and my alternate title foe this chapter is: 'it was at this moment Yugi knew, they f***** up.' Anyways good job I look forward to more. |
RLCinderella chapter 10 . 8/16/2017 This is really interesting and the story is well done. I can't wait to see what happens next. |
lalalei chapter 10 . 8/15/2017 Welp. Everyone's doomed. XD I love how you tied in everything together with the flashbacks, and the Eye, and the Orichalcos and Duke's father's board game! (I wonder if they'll find where Imori's Chinese dragon card game came from, lol.) This was so intense! And the worst part is is that in the manga Ishizu (and in DSOD, Shadi) says the Rod has darkness in it too! D: So even if they get rid of the part of Zorc that's in the Eye things still might not be all clear! I love how everyone's kinda developing superpowers, too. |
lalalei chapter 8 . 8/11/2017 I really enjoy this story's focus on Serenity! She's a really underrated character, and I can't wait to see where you take her! |
lalalei chapter 9 . 8/11/2017 This is a really intense story! I love how you mixed everything together. It reminds me a lot of the YGO video games, which also mix the manga and anime I enjoyed the Capsule Monsters reference, hehe. As far as dub!Kaiba goes, in season 1 he DOES believe in magic and tells Yugi outright how he plans to counter Pegasus magic with his technology, and in the manga he foes from apathy to complete denial at times ("It was… just a realistic illusion… There’s no such thing as magic! There’s no such thing as the occult! There has to be a logical explanation!"), so I got the impression he only cares about it as it pertains to himself/Mokuba/his company. And the virtual worlds in the anime, and Solid Vision in general, really WERE incredibly realistic holograms XD Sometimes the stuff that goes on with technology blurs the line between science and magic! DSOD has that to an even bigger degree. I'm really excited to see where this goes :D DSOD made me wonder what would happen if someone picked up the other Items that the movie didn't showcase. XD |
TetrisEffect chapter 9 . 7/26/2017 This story is superb. The portrayal of the characters, the plot, and wherever the story will go next has me hooked. I read the entire story straight through, and thankfully you updated this gem or else I would have never discovered it! I look forward to the next chapter! |
