An interesting stream of conciousness. I liked that Daniel's big concern, having managed to protect himself, is watching Jack go through watching a child die.

I just watched Lifeboat for the first time today. And it was an exceptional episode in many ways - I like how this story latches on to the father/son aspect. There are a thousand different ways that people can take the Jack/Daniel relationship. Whether it's friendship, paternal, romantic, sexual - there is no question that the two men care very deeply for each other and would try and keep the other from emotional pain. This story hit on that very well. :)

I like that. I always wondered how Daniel felt, being crammed in with so many others. I liked how you added Charlie in there. It makes it more realistic (but maybe that's not the right word). In any case, it was great, and as usual, I loved it. Most of my favorites are stories you wrote. Did you know? Sigh. Well, here's another one for my list.

Lifeboat is one of my favorite episodes (actually I like all the "L" episodes) but I really needed to see more of it on screen. Thanks for adding that little bit more!

Seriously that was awesome. You wrote it so well. I like the little touch of Daniel visiting Charlie's grave. And him shouting out for Jack not to see anything.
