This is such a great story! If there is a little chance...please please please finish it.

You, my dear, are simply evil. Purely, and utterly evil. Dragaunus levels of evil. HOW can you do such a brilliant start to a story, tantalize us with an endearing, awesome OC who is NOT a Mary Sue, give us a promise that you never leave a work unfinished, and then leave us hanging for SIX YEARS?!

Your characterizations are spot on, from Nosedive's enthusiasm and misunderstanding of humans to Siege's sadistic joy of watching others suffer. The way you have Nosedive mention that he's real (five fingers? See!) and the cartoon had some things wrong is such a great, unique take on the series. I love your descriptions of Siege and Chameleon.

The situation you create is filled with so much tension I practically needed to go stretch out my shoulders after reading it from empathizing with the characters. I'm just dieing to know what happens next! Please, please, please, come back and finish this. Or, at least PM me what you had intended for the story to be! My curiosity is going to drive me nuts until I find out more.

I read this a long time ago and realized a few days ago that I am seriously behind in my reviewing responsibilities. Forgive me :)

As a former bookstore employee, I can appreciate your comic and cartoon references here. A lot of my former co-workers were huge fans of at least one of the comics or cartoons you mentioned, and your dialogue made me nostalgic for their company again. And I agree on the comics and graphic novels being the myths of the modern age point. To a certain extent. Well done.

Oh, and you did a great job with both Nosedive's appearance and character. I like the way you described the ducks appearance. Especially the hair.

Good job, and I hope you'll continue this story someday. ;)

I love it! The originality, the slightly redefining the ducks as compared, literally, to their cartoon versions, the raw emotion portrayed...

As for Thrash and Mookie, little was ever really revealed about them. They were only ever seen in the comic shop and were among the first humans the ducks actually met. Mookie did have a tendency, if I remember right, to sound surprisingly nasal and valley-girl in a way seeing as she interrupted herself long enough to add "like" to every sentence. The only other time you actually see them and not in the shop was in Human Factor [which I believe can presently be view on youtube under the poster mdtas] where they were 'visiting their grandmas' in Sunnyville where they informed Wildwing that they were not human but in fact "alternative life forms in search of odd hair colors not found in nature and cool video games" or something along those lines. Oh, and of course they are fascinated with aliens, were even before meeting the Mighty Ducks thus why they so easily accepted them upon their arrival.

I am really diggin' this story. The comic-book writer doesn't seem too mary-sue-ish and everyone appears to be in character. I really enjoy your style of writing as well. I can't wait to see the next chapter! Well done!
