Just a heads-up: if you eject a cartridge before removing the magazine you aren't making the gun safe, you just cycle it and put a fresh cartridge in the barrel.

with the sme observation as before regarding the fact that i'll refrain from asking potential stupid questions for a while longer... i read this also and like it, too. i kind of miss Apollo but when do i not?

Now part 1 seen from the other side - fascinating. So many things that one tends to attribute to professionalism and/or having a deeper meaning are really just coincidence. That's disheartening in a way to a real paranoid like me.

And another part ended with a cliffhanger here ... that would be so cruel unless it weren't for the fact that part 3 is already waiting.

It was another good tale - very well done.

This chapter may be one of the best things I've read on this site.

A lot of people (most) seem to like killing Anders, but this is definitely the best way I've read for him or any of the other Four to go out.

I like how you presented the Colonial's POV in this story. The flashbacks to what happened with the hidden cylons was an excellent touch.

That was a great chapter. Do you know how long it will be before the next one and if it will take as long as this chapter to get out or longer?

Excellent story.. so Tigh is dead now, since I'm guessing that was Sam and Tory who figured out the way to kill themselves was by breaking there necks.

I'm happy to read this new chapter-I hope you can get Book I going in the relatively near future. I can't remember if it was explained before, but I was surprised to see Boomer...and yeah, apocalypse. um. Also, something from the last book I believe it was gave me the impression that our Colonel Thrace was still harboring a secret or two. I look forward to seeing if my suspicions were totally off base or not.

I'd meant to comment in the appropriate chapter on this line: "Well, second-to-last maybe. The late Captain Kara Thrace was the sort of person you sent in to start interstellar wars, not offer a friendly and non-threatening “Hello” to an alien people." That's hilarious.
