it's very good. in a way dickon and mary will not have been happy are childhood friends that when older can developa crush but not a true love and it will be more in dickon than mary. i think for colin and mary it's different. they are both passionate, both beautiful, both stuborn, both clever, and they are used to lead , to do what they want when they want. they are a perfect match for each other. their life begins when the other enter in their life. befor mary he was like dead, before him she was nothing. they grow up like the lady and the lord they are truly, they are leader and not commoner. they like the same things, and they need each other like people need air to breathe. their friendship were passionate with cry, angst, love and their feeling will be like that(very strong) your story is ery good i can see the magnetism colin owns work on mary even if she fight in the beginning but she love him since the first time she see him i think. continue it's good.

This is lovely, and it's nice to see a Mary/Colin story.

That was very well-written, I'd really like to see a sequel exploring the idea further. Only one thing though - Colin's eyes are not brown but 'agate-gray,' their colour is quite accentuated in the book as Burnett mentions it quite often. Apart from that, like other people have said - loved the fact it's about the Mary-Colin relationship, there are so few of those stories :(

This was great. I've never liked Dickon/Mary, so reading such a beautifully written Colin/Mary was wonderful. While reading, it felt like there was a little magic in this story. You write beautifully. Great job.
