| Butterfree chapter 1 . 7/5/2010 Woah, the high level of in-character-ness(if that's a word) from Luffy's side is amazing. Usually in any romance which pairs Luffy up with anyone, no matter how well authors write him, there always seems to be one or two moments where he's out of character or lacking in that straightforward vibe Oda gave him. Finally, there is one story out there which manages to make him incharacter through and through. Some beginning thoughts of Nami were slightly over-the-top and untrue (such as her only living because of Luffy) though, but other than that her characterization was alright but could've been better. | anonymous chapter 1 . 6/22/2009 You know...this is nice. A little fluff every now and then doesn't hurt anybody. I appreciate fics like this because there's a goodwill/friendship towards each other that makes their romance more realistic and more likely to endure. It's nice. Now you have to balance it out by writing a fic where Nami helps out Luffy some way. Give and take. :) |
