Ok, I'll be straight with you... I feel you've really jumped the shark with the list you chose; Parnassus, sonny, checkmatey?

Parnassus being the least likely of those three to actually commit a rape because that type of crime would completely destroy him if it came to light! Yes he tried to get Ingrid expelled because her being there challenged her social standing as the smartest kid in school, but even if that came up it would have hurt his reputation as bad as being labelled a rapist would and someone as smart as him would know that. Now i don't doubt he could set up a rape to happen, but i do doubt he'd take part in something so easily self destructive/damning.

Checkmatey, i honestly can't see what he would have to gain from it. Yet he's lose everything once it came to light just like Parnassus would. He doesn't have any vendetta against either Fillmore or Ingrid. I'm assuming based on how the story describes him, he's still a rapping chess player which leads me to believe that he would still have a following. I see nothing that makes him qualified choice unless the only connection being used is the fact he was crushing on Ingrid in middle school.

Sonny, out of all the people chosen here, this could be the most plausible. The reason it doesnt work for me is because sonny didn't strike as the grudge holding type. Even his interaction with Fillmore in the show after he was caught had no real malicious towards either Fillmore or Ingrid. I would even go as far as to claim he even still had respect for Fillmore's skills at the end of the episode .

Characters i feel would've been a better choice: Robert chestnut, Derek Minna, Jamie Townsend, Bigger... These are all people claim that had their whole life ruined by Ingrid and Fillmore because catching them ruined everything they had ever built. Compared to the above three.

Good overall story.

I have a suggestion/request though.

Write a story/1-shot where Fillmore and Ingrid tell Carly about her biological father.

My reasoning is as follows:

1. Carly deserves to know.

2. Fillmore and Ingrid realise that it would be much better to tell Carly themselves, rather than have her find out some other way.

*squels* I LOVED the story! It was just so cute! and it's kinda hard for these fics to catch my attention these days, (especailly multi-chaptered fics ;) Anyway...

I can't vevn name my fave parts cause I loved the whole thing!

Carly is actually a very common name. (I should, me and at least two other people in my area have it) It's american meaning is petit and womanly but i've always liked the elvish/gealic meaning better. Anyway, all in all good name choice!

My friend was born three months early like you, only I dont think there was any complications in her birth, though I may be wrong, but I am not going to ask her anytime soon/

Aww! This is soo cute! I love it! I can actually picture Fillmore getting in a stress, i can just see it so clearly in my mind! Lol! I love the baby's name, Carly Elizabeth. Its a really nice name, in my opinion. And 'Strong' is definatly the right word to discribe any child of Ingrid's. Amazing chaper!

I'm supposed to be going somewhere right now, but I decided to stop and read the last of this fic first, and I don't regret it. It was really nice. I just finished watching this J-Drama that was called 14sai no haha, meaning 14-year-old mother, and well, let's just say I've learned a lot about pregnancy.
