Ua, you are way too hard on yourself~ This story totally dragged me in. ItaNeji is a fetish that cannot be denied!

But seriously, I love when authors give away a little information at at time, just enough to keep you interested, but not so much you can see it all coming from a mile away. Being able to KNOW something isn't right, but not knowing WHAT it is made me so damn curious. / The way you portrayed all of them going a little mad because their thoughts were being manifested in front of them was good. It's hard to make people's dive into insanity believable and not just a whole bunch of ranting and raving. Shinobi wouldn't go crazy the same as us normal people, I don't think, and their seasoned minds would definitely think of their situation in a different light than someone untrained.

Itachi's first portrayal did seem essentially wrong, and the subtle differences between that Itachi and what I guess you can call the 'True Itachi' -as far as Neji can remember- were nicely done. And this part: “Be patient,” Itachi said, voice as mild as if they were discussing the weather.

It was totally hilarious, because he is SUCH a bastard that way. And Anko? I like the way you portrayed her. A conflicted woman who has the man she loathes, and yet still looked up to and revered as a child, following her around like a puppy. Very amusing in that sort of twisted way.

Did I mention my extreme love for mental anguish? ::shifty eyes:: Mental torture and mind games are far more fun than they should be, and watching characters reactions in unknown situations makes a story that much more engrossing. Especially when those actions seem very IC and fit with what I see them doing in my mind.

However, aside from all the gushing about how much I like the intricacies of this story and the hinting about HOW YOU HAVE TO FINISH THIS STORY, something about Neji bothers me. ::strokes chin:: I don't know what it is, exactly, and probably has something to do with Neji's temper, or rather his curtness. THAT can be attributed to how much older he is and the events of the past, so after thinking on it, it seemed to fit much better than it did when I initially started reading...

...and who is Shizune holding onto? ::wide-eyed hopeful look complete with wagging tail::
