It's a very interesting story and a great take on the characters. I know its been a while but I Hope you continue this.

I just finished reading this up to this point, and I was enjoying it so much! Now its all "aww man, there's no more!" But I understand and sympathize with you for loosing all your old work...Its happened to me before, and trying to rewrite what you had and praying it comes out even half as good? Yeah...total hell. I'm loving the way you write Movie Rogue. When watching the movies, I kept wanting to strangle whoever decided Rogue was a little wilting flower who needed protection at all times...Hello? Where is whoever writes Comic Rogue? Where is our Southern Spitfire? The REAL Rogue, who takes crap from no one and isn't afraid to kick ass and take names? *sigh* My other favorite part you've included? Its SCOGUE! *cheers* Or at least hints at it so far...Scott and Rogue just make sense to me...rather like Remy and Rogue do. Logan? Hell no. Bobby? Meh...he's too...just not right IMHO. John? Better, but still not my favorite pairing. If you ever get this updated again, I'll be reading! Even if you don't, Kudos for even doing what you did for this...Journals like this aren't common types of stories. Thanks for posting :)

I'm sorry to hear about your everything being deleted. A new computer (of any kind) doesn't count as yours until it has all of your stuff on it. And until you've had it for about two months and it auto-completes the better half of everything you type, and does it /accurately/.

I like this story so far. It gives an interesting view into Rogue's mind. Like a 'stream of conscious' or whatever that literary term for writing everything you think is. I like- that is I really freaking /love/- how it's written. Everything's said honestly, which is a change from the usual guesswork that is most writing. It's also nice to see someone being honest with them/self/ because for whatever reason no one ever is. But Rogue has admitted things in her diary that I wouldn't've if I were writing. As in I would probably keep those things locked up tight in my head and done my best to forget they ever happened. But, differences: people have them. SO! I hope at some point you will continue writing this.

I adore this fic! I usually don't go for journal-style fics, but the entries are such a unique blend of character insight and summary of outside events that the whole story is just utterly fantastic! Plus, the premise behind the journal entries also adds realism to the piece... I can genuinely see Professor X assigning something like that. And though you claim the contrary, this story /feels/ like it has plot - almost like a catalogue of events building up to the finale (presumably the moment where the Prof and Scott end up reading the journals and the aftermath thereof). I realize it's been years since you've worked on this story (or at least updated it), but I would truly love to read the finished product. So, please update...
