Sheesh. Lila seems oddly out of character. Unless this is a convoluted plot of hers to get Arnold and Helga together (she knows Helga's secret after all).

I loved your kissing scene it wasn't overly perfect, it was real and not over the top, and i love the inner battle Arnold is going through in the entire, and him just surrendering to his feelings . it was perfection. I am hooked.

Okay, so all in all, this was a nice short fanfic that I'm glad I read.
I personally think that you are best at doing details. Some people are really good at writing the story itself, some are good at coming up with juicy original plots, but you are the only person I've seen who I think is best at the details. I mean this in a good way, because I absolutely loved all of those little things that you added. Like the whole FTI "It was a lie then, it's a lie now." I loved that part. It was just great. And then chocolate boy: give this to Helga don't stop for chocolate. That was genius. There is no way that I would have been able to come up with something like that. You are a good writer, and good at plots, but I personally think that you are best at coming up with those cute little details that really make you love it.
NOTES:
So this was pretty short (Which hey, I like a nice short fic every once in a while) so I really don't have very many notes. I just want to say that
1) Gerald took that pretty well... don't you think? Considering that everyone hates Helga, you'd think he would be one of those way up there on the hate list.
2) Pheobe was pretty nice about that... I mean, Arnold did something mean to her best friend. I would think that Pheobe would be a bit upset/angry about that, at least at first.
3) Helga got over that quickly... It wasn't bad, just maybe next time you should make Arnold have to really talk her into going with him to Slausen's?
4) I'm sorry, but HE DOES NOT LOVE HER. Honestly! He freaking just realized that he likes her. This is why teenagers should not be in relationships because they take it way too seriously. This is no. He does not love her. I honestly think that you should get rid of those last two lines; just end it at perfection, because he doesn't love her yet. He may be falling in love, but he isn't in love just yet.

So other than those notes, this was a really good story, and even though four may seem like a lot, those really weren't that bad of notes, I mean I didn't really feel that strongly about them, they were just my thoughts, but they didn't really ruin the story for me or anything.

After the first 3 paragraphs, I already like where the story seems to be going.

Good storyline about Arnold's love note. What I really enjoyed is Helga slowly confessing her feelings to Arnold before and after Helga finding out the dare game. You also made it very believable about Arnold's feelings for Helga, since he never knew Helga loved him until he found out on their first date. I could actually feel how Arnold felt about Helga's feelings, since he was confused on how to feel about Helga. But slowly, he began to care and love Helga back. It was a great buildup.
