I love this story. I hope you come back to it.

Out of all the incredibly powerful and versatile characters to choose from you give Xander a guy with no powers? I just dont see it. He's bloodthirsty and violent, skilled in combat sure, but that applies to many, many other powered characters. There are a ton of characters in the Marvel verse that would wipe the floor with the Punisher in seconds. Guess we'll see.

No!?. Why is Snyder needed?! And as captain america...yeesh.

That place in hell reserved for people who talk in movie theater during the show, putting Snyder as captain america will get you worse. Other than visions of Snyder in spandex good 4 chapters.

very quick addition to my last review... i know they didn't know what was gonna happen ahead of time, but even still Xander got hosed being Punisher. You made SNYDER better than Xander. SNYDER! Do you dislike Xander that much? anyways sorry, its your story your choice, it just sucks all the enjoyment out of it. The way Xander was handled in Canon annoyed me as well. Why is he treated so poorly?

ok, ive tried reading this story many times, but i have one major problem that always makes me stop. Why the Punisher? His reasoning isn't good enough, there are plenty of Marvel Characters that dont get "messed with". And after having failed to save Buffy, he would probably want to be Super, not just good with guns and tactics. Xander didn't turn into a revenge obsessed nut job, so its safe to say he could have even been a villain without too much problems(of course i havent read to far in so he may have issues later...), and since Giles didnt believe they retained anything at first i assume he wasnt in a wheelchair, so physical deformities not tied to the powers didnt stay... The Sentry would have worked(pre Void),or Wonder Man, or Adam Warlock. There is also Hawkeye (Ronin), Deadpool, Iron Fist, Magneto... or well you get the idea...

So again... why the Punisher?

Oh dear, and it looks like things are revving up now, just hope that before it all ends that there won't be major casualties for the good guys here.

Dang, an intense moment there, and was worried Faith was gonna have a bad moment there, and then the attacks as folks are gathering, and the First seeming to hold all the face cards, well, I look forward to just how bad things will get, and if the latest fallen from this last attack will be able to come back okay?

Epic scale piece of work! I enjoy the way you mix canon events with non-canon. Enemies seeking different methods to deal with new problems. Its kind of the crux of this sort of re-engineered fanfic, how much to keep versus how many new elements to introduce to the story. And I think you have struck a really good balance. Speaking of balance, your juggling of a massive ensemble cast is also impressive. Thanks for sharing this with us, I look forward to the next installment :)

Nice sections there, and was neat to see Faith smack Roger off into nappy land there, as well as seeing Giles decide that Wood's big mouth needed shrinking a bit, and will wonder if Wood is going to end up getting someone killed sooner or later? Looking forward to the next major encounter, and what might happen if the First's plans change somewhat?

Great pace on your story, and I hope you get more reviews.

Well damn, that was one hellova chapter. Great stuff. I always like it when authors give the heroes a really god adversary. Makes the story far more exciting. Keep it up. I am quite enjoying this fic. I wonder if the slayers would be all to opposed to perhaps start working with the military and start using guns and the like (at least when they can get away with it or if the situation is so dire that they don't care about the police noticing). Guns don't kill vamps and a lot of demons but they can still hurt (and the bigger the caliber the more damage :) ).
