Brilliant. Great characterisation for a Sam that didn't take the jump. And, of course, great crossover elements. Adding to favourites.

Life on Mars and Tourchwood, not one that had occured to me but have fit them together fantastically. The only problem is that now you have spoilt this series of Torchwood for me cos I now want to see Sam Tyler as part of the team. That would be a really good episode. You did Sams thought process very well, very convincing and I felt so sorry for him and was so wanting to tel him that he could jump and it would all be ok. I love this story.

Lol. You Know, This was the fic that inspired my own attempt at a Life on Mars crossover based in the Whoverse. So I just thought I should say thanks for being an inspiration.

hey dewpoint...i swear to god, i thought that this was a story where Doctor Who's The Master turns himself human, thinking that he is Sam Tyler and Jack is trying to hunt him down or something! THAT WOULD BE SO COOL! could you do one of those?

Please do a sequel.

Espcially one where the Torchwood team end up in 1973 and Sam has to deal with both teams and Gene, Chris, and Ray have to deal with Jack.

This made me smile several times throughout! I loved having Sam thinking about Gene just before going after the weevil. Infact, can't wait for more if it's coming!

Now that is just fabulous! I would love to see this happen; you've got the characters down perfectly and I can't help imagining how Gene would react to Jack! I can't see Sam getting on with Owen much either...Wonderful fic, favourited!
