I remember this story very well. I always read it when I get ticked over Deathly hallows. Funnily enough, this time I read it, I felt really really bad for Ron. As much of a jerk he has acted, Hermione really should never had led him on SO LONG! That hurts a person more! I'd love to see Ron with Luna, I always thought they'd be better for each other.

You gottta be crazy to even consider two people would give up their entire futures for their first boy/girlfriend. The whole concept behind this is stupid.

I think your take on the relationships is very well thought out and perceptive- and so much more accurate than canon. I still love the HP books, but I don't understand the ships - how did JK write such a great character in Hermione & then write Ron as such a prat sometimes...& then put them together? Hardly any intimate moments with Ron & a million with Harry? Is JK messing with us or what? Your story hits that nail right on the head. This could be the scenes missing from the tent (because hello - as if they wouldn't have talked about the 'you choose him' comment) I really liked the Ron & Ginny conversation chapter 2, just flowed nicely. I haven't got time to read past chapter 2 yet but will come back, I really like what you've set up. Your ideas are great (eg; the deluminator)and you write really well. Thanks for posting and good on u for puting it in recs on portkey coz that's where I found it. ps my reviews are always long! but i write too so I think that's not such a bad thing, reviews are great huh. A painful chapter. Well written though. Think more descriptions per paragraph would have been good - like describing their surroundings and the birds and the smell of grass and horseshit, things like that.
