I don't think much about this fandom normally, but your story seemed interesting enough. So I read the first chapter. and the next one. And the next. And I was a bit frustrated because there was no more.

I really liked this story. I hope you won't mind, but I found in it the charm of a Barbara Cartland plot with the spice of youkai and miko stories.

Kind of drags in a bit when descriptively writing movement. First few chapters were sad when relating to Kagome's despairing marriage but I feel everything is staying too formal with all the interactions of Sesshomaru, Shippo, and Inyasha. I mean, Kagome is Sesshomaru's and even if he didn't want her, he is honor bound to keep her safe. His beast would at least be agitated. And Shippo grew up with Kikyo as an adopted sister. Even if she was a snob, he would not of reacted as he did finding her in a near death condition. And he certainly would not have allowed Sesshomaru to make all the rules and arrangements. Kikyo is not Kagome, he has no claim to her and no right to say how she should be treated.
