(forgot to review on the last 3 chaps, but...) you used flashbacks! lol, i sorta saw that coming... you've done a great job writing this! most of the stories i've read where zelda go on a quest either: a) portray her as some idiot who can barely lift a sword or b) have her be an expert with the sword (or an expert with a nearly unlimited amount of magic). glad to see she's a beginner, but making steady progress!
