I actually love the way you did this. It worked beautifully, and I can't remember ever seeing it used before, at least not for a whole story.

I loved the way this story unfolded in reverse, you really pulled that technique off well!

Remus not being entirely convinced by Hermione's ability to achieve anything by just studying it is a very nice touch. He was a star student too after all, so he would know you can't learn everything from a book (and possibly too that Hermione can be somewhat cavalier with other people).

Great story. I really liked the reverse chronology structure - it made it a bit more mysterious and interesting.

This reverse chronology is an interesting idea. I like the idea of this, how it was slowly revailed why they needed Lockhart, of all people.

Oh sounds exciting! I love the backwards chronology (although I have to admit it took me a little while to work out that it was going backwards as I skipped the place and times subtitles!) But anyway, another great story from you! Was this a one-shot or is there more to come?
