Jadziwine chapter 1 . 10/27/2010
fantastic as always. its about time the Doctor had to put up and shut up, like Martha had to do Oh so many times. and the Doctor really could charm the pants off any girl he wanted too, i mean even a dragon fancied him! it sucks that i'm like 4 yrs too late for you actually give a crap about my reviews but i wanted to show the love anyway. i really enjoyed these stories.
Lynse chapter 10 . 10/30/2009
This was a great story. Fitting ending, with the Doctor tricking Martha like that (though I am a bit surprised he didn't try to reorder society somehow...expect that'd be a bit difficult in such a short period of time, even for him, so he just decided to sow the seeds and hope Manny takes the hint?). Thanks for writing this.
PhoenixWytch chapter 10 . 10/8/2009
Nice.

Thanks for writing.
Driessen chapter 2 . 4/26/2008
"He looked at her for a long moment, putting his hands in his pockets and thinking. He appeared to swing from side to side slightly, as great philosophical debates raged behind his serious eyes. “Yep,” he said at last, nodding and looking at his feet. “Sure?” she asked. He just nodded, keeping his gaze on his Converse, and she sighed unhappily"

How hilarious is this? LOL! Just loving this!
Midnight Louie Flamingo Fedora chapter 10 . 4/17/2008
This was lovely. I can't believe I didn't read this earlier.
KelinciHutan chapter 10 . 1/31/2008
It is a mark of how amazingly and phenomenally *unfair* the internet is that this story has only nine reviews. Well, ten, counting mine, but still!

This was fantastic. Just absolutely great. The Doctor-Martha interactions were so perfect, and I love the way that the Doctor had trouble letting go and letting Martha take the lead, and how she looked after him anyway. And the way that he talked was so spot on. Tenth Doctor manic-babble can be tricky to reproduce on "paper" sometimes, and you've really mastered his voice.

You have much love from me because of this story. It's just so good.
Flaignhan chapter 10 . 9/19/2007
*pushes nicely wrapped present forward* Those are my apologies for not reading and reviewing sooner, all done up in a nice pretty package.

In all absolute truth, I haven't been able to even look at Doctor Who, let alone read or watch it ever since the fifth Harry Potter film came out, followed by the seventh book. That is more or less the reasoning behind my absence.

Now, onto the review:

I adored it. Absolutely bloody adored it. I think it's possibly your best one yet, although there are others that I need to read so they may be even better!

I love the whole Jarvis Cocker thing that you always bring up, I think that ties the stories together quite nicely. And I love love love the line which was something like "Everything you thought you wanted was over the other side" when he was talking about the parallel universes. I just thought that was gorgeous, and I like the fact that Martha missed it, but she'd probably realise what he meant at a later date. So wonderful.

AND I love the jelly babies and ice cream analogy. It's a wonderful analogy and I hate the fact that so few people seem to be able to comprehend something like that - it's constantly Martha vs Rose and the whole thing gets tiresome, and the people who like Martha tend to get fed up with Rose because all the Rose worshippers keep going on about how amazing she is when she's not. So yes, this is turning out to be long and heinous, but that's not my fault. I have diarrhea of the fingers. Would that be Phalangical Diarrhea? I wonder...but yes, hopefully some people will come round to the idea of liking more than one companion if they've read that.

And what could be more amazing than having the Doctor as a man-servant? My dreams will be sweet tonight, thanks to that. GAH. How wonderful!

I love your vocabulary choices as well, it's one of those things where it's not overly complicated words (apart from the Doctor's little science rants) but it's put together in such a way that just works so well, and you find yourself wishing you wrote it. It's really casual writing as well, which makes it nice and fun, things like the Doctor chucking his thumb over his shoulder, it just makes it really good.

I think that's about it, I'm now off to read the next one. Fingers crossed for it being just as good, if not better than this one. Cos this one was just completely and utterly *ponders word* ...superb.

This may be the longest review I have ever posted, and for that you receive another nicely wrapped package of apologies. ]

Captain LN chapter 10 . 7/18/2007
This is absolutely wonderful, the dialogue is exactly how I would expect it to be, and I have to admit I laughed out loud a few times! The only thing I would change would be to make it longer... the idea of having the Doctor as a man-servant is simply too divine XD

Added to my favourite stories list! :P
Syreene chapter 10 . 7/18/2007
Lovely analogies in the end...the possibilities proposed by Star Trek as a symbol of hope. Of course...the Doctor getting drunk was priceless, too. ;)
Persiflage chapter 10 . 7/18/2007

Kesomon chapter 10 . 7/17/2007
