princesshyuuga01 chapter 36 . 2/7/2015
I read the over the course of two days, I purposely stalled finishing it in one go because it was too enjoyable and I never wanted it to end xD I loved the concept and also the title. The Epilogue was cute :) I only wished you had hinted what happened where Sasuke and Hanabi were concerned. I'm content however. Some parts were emotional and I loved the humour you sprinkled about, like Sakura's first time giving birth LOL xD Naruto wad comic. I loooooooooved the DeiTen :) I've never thought of ItaIno before but I loved it. It was fun to read. Also I liked that in the end Sasuke and Sakura had some kind of friendship despite everything :D I really liked that. It shows character maturity. This is probably the longest story I have ever read and it was amazing!

I loved all the Medical Research and breakthroughs Sakura made. They were interesting to read about. I am glad she found a way to get rid of Neji's seal. I loved everybody's role in this. It was a brilliant read. I kept cracking up at the prospect of NaruHina's late night rendezvous. Sneaky sneaky haha :)

I missed Tobi, he kind of disappeared :'( LOL Ino and Tenten's horrible cooking was an hilarious touch as well. And Neji likes Muffins, how adorable xD Kakashi and Tsunade's initial concern about Sakura and Neji's relationship was nice too. Protectiveness! I liked that your Hiashi wasn't the sterotype I'm used to reading...and writing *blushes guility* I rather liked him in this story. I liked that he had a sense of justice.

I dont have a problem with OCCness, its your story, you cast the characters however you choose. I didnt think anyone was OCC btw. Each character was written to suit their role in the story, whats OCC about that xD I loved every single one of them.

I liked the fight scenes, they were easy to picture because of the way you described them. I felt bad for Sasuke losing his sight, but Itachi had to do what he had to do. I felt a sense of justice though, Sasuke had been naughty and needed to be eternally punished (that sounded weird) :P

I like Ino's initial frustration towards Itachi's subtleness xD I like when she gets riled up about things like that. Its always funny to imagine. OMG I also loved that short conversation between Tenten and Deidara where she talks about weaponry and art. It laid their foundation perfectly. Haha and the mouth in his hands liked her xD how sweet haha.

There are soo many things about this that I liked. And do excuse me if this review is lenghty or all over the place. I always leave detailed reviews gushing about the things that I like, even if they were minot stuff. I previously mentioned my love for the title of this story "Gift of Life" I thought it was appropriate that they had children xD I would be surprised if they hadn't. The title is significant in so many ways. I think it speaks to Neji having his seal removed and finally being able to experience true freedom...ie. life. I think it also speaks to Sakura's profession...being a medic and all she's able to safe lives and make a couple better through her healing.

I think it also speaks to The Uchihas and how they were finally reunited and accepted back into the village. Because honestly, I dont think either one of them truly had "life" amongst their criminal organizations. I also think it speaks to Sakura's research and how she managed to find solutions to Gaara's problem as well as give Tsunade the child she always wanted.

I really loved the title. It resonated with me through the entire story. I'm glad Orochimaru was dead :P The Hyuuga elders are all business all the time. I mean showing up when Sakura's about to have her baby and wanting to talk about future clan matters xD Hyuuga-sama cracks me up.

The idea of a Suna ambassador living in Konoha was a nice way to cement Shikamaru and Temari's relationship. I must comment on Sakura and Neji's relationship as well. It was mature, I liked that about it. They didnt fuss over petty things and for the most part the conflict was around them rather than between them. I liked that :) Hehe I totally saw the elders demanding an heir coming... haha! I also loved how Hanabi matured throughout the story as well. You described her interaction with Sasuke so wonderfully. They had a beautiful connection/understanding. I was dying to know what happened. But its over now so :P

Naruto was hilarious, still hasnt really lost much if his boyish ways xD Did you realize that all of Team 7 got involved with Hyuugas?! I LOVED it! Now they are even more like family.

So I think this has been a long review. There are still things I think I missed that was worth mentioning (everything was worth mentioning :P) but if I remember I will review some other chapter.

I read that you have new stories out. I will be giving them a read. Yay!

L.L.V chapter 14 . 3/25/2014
I liked the initial idea of this story and I feel the plot is still rather engaging, but the presentation could use some more fleshing out. The characters all seem rather OOC (which I think you warned us about) but they are OOC in a manner that seems unrealistic considering their circumstances.
Your Akatsuki feel a tad too cuddly and kind to be mercenaries, even if they personally many not be immoral or particularly inclined towards cruelty. Mercenaries by nature are a tough bunch that care more about their pay than any other loyalties (or at least try to seem that way).
The characters also have little development, and the writing style, while getting the general point across, does little to engage the senses, develop moods, or really involve the reader. It feels a little like reading a script.
Of course, that doesn't mean it isn't enjoyable, just that it requires development and editing to make it transition to a higher quality.

To answer your end comments: No Deidara and Kisame weren't really friends. If you've not given up on the manga (which a lot of people have) Deidara holds a lot of resentment towards the Akatsuki and particularly Uchiha Itachi for forcing him to join. He appears to have no actual friends there, but had a certain awe and respect for Sasori as a fellow artist.
mashiro.x.shiina chapter 36 . 3/7/2014
