oh my god that is soooo sweet and I am glad that they found out that Michael isn't at fault for her cover being blown, it would have shattered him... I can't wait to see their wedding XD and it would be kind of great if you wrote the second wedding too. I haven't been reading a lot of fics for this fandom yet, but I have yet to see one with vaughn's family interacting with sydney in any way, even something so simple as meeting her. Any ways this is a reallly great fic so far I can't wait to read more, especially when finn finds out he is a failure and that sydney won in every way.

I mean in canon they go to Santa Barbara and get engaged there. But this is just as special. It was so right and perfect. They're not a conventional couple, and the proposal wouldn't be in my mind.

Also like minded - always suspected Sloane knew from almost day one and used Syd to take down the Alliance so he could pursue Rambaldi, IMO

THIS is the kind of organic drama I wanted during Alias! Not the Season 3 and other bullshit love triangle shoved down our throats!

Not that I'd want Syd to go through this...but they both have dangerous enough jobs that surely there could have been drama just from that!

And that is why - and for other reasons - this is the best Alias fic, not just because your characterizations are bang on, but the drama is so raw and real and beyond amazing.

I'm so glad that we have this Syd and Vaughn and the whole extended spy family.

Okay, it took me a few minutes to recover ! It was so heartbreaking to read them being so distant and Vaughn being unable to open up to her. And my eyes welled up when he started to cry ! I hope you'll make them work this all out. It's a whole different relationship than the one you started this story with but it's very pleasant and powerful to read still ! I loved the parts involving Jack, hating those involving Flynn, obviously ! I can't believe he is still causing damage, throw him off a bridge already haha
