Tim's accident was just a bit too convenient, but otherwise this works out as a sweet and well-drawn story. In fact, if Matt didn't show clear interest in Julie right from the start, there might be more Matt-Tyra stories.

I know that you wrote this a million years ago, but I just wanted to say that I thought it was beautiful.

The pacing and characterization are both fantastic. I thought the whole thing was excellent, and there is something so true and heartfelt about the way you bring Matt and Tyra together. Tim's funeral made me cry in the very best way. Loved it.

GAH! This story is amazing. I love the style of write, I love the pairing, and I love how in character everyone is. You should deff write a sequel or something. I think it would be interesting to see how Matt and Tyra make a relationship work (how people see them etc).

I really love this story and I love that you had Matt/Tyra become good friends first. I would love to see more interaction with Tyra/Smash and Tyra/Steet. Only as friends of course. And I would love to see Matt get more advice from Coach. Great job. Update ASAP.

poor tyra! the way it just hit her that matt was too good for her, wow. realistic and heart-breaking. i cant believe matt waited the whole time for her.

what a great scene! loved the banter between matt and landry. spot on for both. i absolutely love the comparisons between the styles of matt and jason. very observant and very right.
