Nice. You really do angst well, and the tension between Jack and Daniel is very believable. You seem to switch between first person and third person point of view a couple of times, especially in the beginning, so I was a bit confused at first.

The most interesting part was how Alar reacts to Daniel. I always wondered why he didn't try and get rid of Daniel somehow, considering how ruthless he seemed. So I liked what you added here. It was very in-character and an interesting twist.

Nice, I always like Jack and Daniel friendship stories. I especially liked the line about Daniel looking Jack in the face showing that he's not ashamed to say he's sorry. Kudos!
