*wipes away tear* Amazing! I've considered the other princess's point of view before, but not quite like this. I still have sympathy for the little mermaid, of course—she really did love the guy—but now I have just as much for this girl. I'm torn between the two! Waaah!

Wow, I never thought I would root for the other girl, but after reading this... Well, I'd be lying if I said that I didn't see her in a completely new way, now.

Very nice. People are always hating on the princess, but what happened wasn't her fault. I love seeing fics that tell stories from a different POV than most-and this is the best princess POV I've ever seen for "The Little Mermaid."

I loved how understanding this princess seems- regretfulling accepting that she can never completely win, yet without the expected shards of bitterness.

I like how the Princess seems to uderstand, and accepts, the Mermaid's POV, but doesn't let it stop her from loving the prince herself.

I appreciate the other POV here. It would be so difficult to be rivals, especially from two different worlds. It seems here that the princess had no doubt about who he would end up living with. I don’t pretend to understand everything about you. I like how you put this, as the princess didn't know that both she and the prince were to be killed for the mermaid to the sea, and it was a kindness/love that the mermain chose to kill neither of them.
