Yo my guy. Have no idea if you’re still around but I’m gonna leave a comment anyway because that was spectacular. Even though this was long, I literally stayed up until 4am (then promptly passed out lol) to finish reading this. It was really addicting and even though this is an older fic, I really think this is one of those rare gems that can hold up its weight against other well written fics written today.

Anyway, this was such a nicely written story with a plot I really enjoyed and I think that’s the best way I can sum up my experience. It’s honestly been a while since I’ve read such a wonderful long read and have felt the feeling of being satisfied and refreshed by the end of it. From the tension and fear of being thrown into a new world to the pining felt by both boys and to the unease and relief of coming back home, I truly felt immersed in both of the worlds you constructed.

So yeah. I had tons of fun! Thanks so much for sharing~

I checked the date; this fic was last updated in 2011, and you mentioned 4 years in the making? I'm. Speechless about how wonderful this whole story turned out, and so grateful that it's still around 8 years later.

I absolutely enjoyed everything about this, in so many ways that my brain can't quite articulate at 3:58 A.M. but please know that my heart is absolutely touched by the work and talent that was put into this. I don't think I could ever forget this fic, nor would I ever want to. This is my favorite palletshipping fic that I've had the pleasure of reading, and I wanted to thank you for what you've contributed to the community so; thank you.

This was such a beautiful fic! I loved how dynamic and intricate the story was and how you'd clearly thought through the details of the past civilisation. It was heartbreaking, yet the ending more than made up for it! Thank you so much for writing this and sharing it with us!

Amazing story, just a little hard to read at times and get my head around what is happening. I am not sure if this is due to the writing style or lack of my own vocabulary range in which, I have been presented with words that I had to look up lol. However, there were also instances where the sentences and paragraphs felt confusing and with the 'dotted around' spelling mistakes and used of repeated words it took me a while to read this story. IT WAS WORTH IT!
I noticed quite a few time you used the the same character name when it should have been two different ones. Like in the last chapter you wrote, ''Satoshi shrugged, twisted in his chair to face Satoshi'' There other instances of this through out the story and it added to the confusion. And a few times i was unsure as to which charter was talking during dialogue.
In terms of the story, I loved the plot, and the mystery. The story its self was really cool. I wish the ended had more to it but I really liked the way it was done. XD

What just happened? This story is waaay too confusing... Hopefully it will clear up in these next few chapters.

This is the first PalletShipphing fic I've read so I don't have much to compare this to, but I have to admit that it was one of the most exceptional piece of writing I have ever come across- and I read a lot. Your writing style is truly inspiring and each chapter has so much to offer to the reader. Kudos to you.

ok, hello, just dropping by to say that when i saw one of the new sun and moon trailers with samson oak i immediately thought of this fic and its prof. oak dream-variant-thing (its been a while). excuse me but can you see into the future? is this what this is?

This was such a beautiful piece of writing! I will be very honest here as I say this; while I am a HUGE Palletshipper, I usually tend to avoid the stories that use their Japanese names. I know, that narrows the pool down a lot, but somehow I just can't accept it - they have always been Ash and Gary to me.
But this story...it was something else altogether. I knew from the very first paragraph that Japanese names or not, I HAD to read this work of art. It was intense, to say the least. Ash and Gary were so in character, it was not very hard to imagine this being an actual Pokemon movie or something. You write so well, I remember having to put my phone down after reading an exceptionally well written line, and just staring at the wall, thinking, wow, that was some marvelous writing. I kid you not, I loved it that much.
Kudos to you!

Words cannot describe the many emotions that coursed through me as I read this entire beautiful piece of fiction. Honestly, it's been a long, LONG time that anything's wrought out that many different emotions at once, especially a STORY. All of your similies and descriptions were so unique and breath-taking-I adore your writing style. If this story was made into a hard-back book, I would buy it in a heartbeat just to have a tangible copy of this. By far one of the best fics I've ever read. It IS the best fic in this fandom, for sure! I loved your version and characterization of both Satoshi and Shigeru-different from the anime, but fitting. You made them come to life, while in the anime their personalities are just 2D and a bit boring. I couldn't help but to stalk your profile (haha) and saw where you've just finished the outline of the sequel to this, but it's been a couple of years since then. Is it still coming along? Because it's all I can do just to stay in my seat from anticipation. I can't WAIT to read it, that is if you're still planning to publish it! I'm BEGGING you too! Heck, if anything, email or PM it to me! On a different note, how's Japan treating you? It's been a lifelong dream of mine to visit Japan, let alone LIVE there!
